Most chapter activities are open to everyone, regardless of membership status, but becoming a member supports FNPS and the chapter financially. And you’ll benefit by receiving the FNPS quarterly magazine The Palmetto and the e-newsletter the Sabal Minor. The Palmetto has articles about plants, landscaping, ethnobotany, and other topics. The Sabal Minor focuses on initiatives by FNPS and its chapters to further the FNPS mission.

Also, most native plant nurseries and retailers provide discounts to FNPS members but you'll need your membership card to take advantage.

To become a member, please visit the Florida Native Plant Society membership page.

The mission of the Florida Native Plant Society is to promote the preservation, conservation, and restoration of the native plants and native plant communities of Florida.
